PIES FOR PARTIES

Pie is perfect to serve at your wedding or any large event.
Hopefully the FAQs below will help answer some questions about having Upper Crust pies and cookies at your wedding reception!

Is my date available? What do I need to do to book my wedding with The Upper Crust? A $100 non-refundable deposit will secure your booking and give you the most flexibility. You can bring your payment into the store, call in with a credit card number, etc. Just be sure your payment clearly indicates the names associated with your wedding. This deposit is applied towards your final cost. If your order is 15 or less, full payment will be requested at the time the order is placed. A deposit is requested only for orders of 16 or more pies.

How far in advance do you need to know our flavors and numbers? Once your deposit is paid, your wedding is considered "booked" and will stay on the calendar. We don't need your final numbers and flavors until two weeks prior.

Do you offer discounts for weddings? Our pies are all made individually, from scratch. It doesn't cost us less to make more, but we do appreciate being a part of your special day!

Do you make cakes?  Nope, we are a PIE bakery!

How does payment work? Your non-refundable deposit is required at the time of your initial booking. Final payment, final flavors, and final numbers are due two weeks prior to your booked date.

Can we come in for a tasting? We are happy to schedule a tasting for large parties /events. (Orders of 20 or more pies.) Please call for additional information at 913.642.2999.

Will you deliver?  We don't but many of our customers have used a local delivery service. Give us a call if you need a recommendation.

My wedding is 2+ hours away...will the pies travel well?  Certain pies travel better than others. If kept in an air-conditioned vehicle, away from direct sunlight, most pies will have no problems traveling to your event. We ask that pie boxes be stacked no more than 4 boxes high, and kept as flat as possible. We recommend you pick up your pies the night before, rather than the morning of the wedding, in case of any hiccups along the way.

I still have questions... No problem! Email me at anytime! Jan@uppercrustpiebakery.com
