PIE is love!
Pie is perfect to serve at your wedding or any large event.
Hopefully the FAQs below will help answer some questions about having Upper Crust pies and cookies at your wedding reception!
A $100 non-refundable deposit will secure your booking and give you the most flexibility. You can bring your payment into the store, call in with a credit card number, etc. Just be sure your payment clearly indicates the names associated with your wedding. This deposit is applied towards your final cost.
Once your deposit is paid, your wedding is considered “booked” and will stay on the calendar. We don’t need your final numbers and flavors until two weeks prior.
Our pies are all made individually, from scratch. It doesn’t cost us less to make more, but we do appreciate being a part of your special day!
Nope, we are a PIE bakery!
Your non-refundable deposit is required at the time of your initial booking. Final payment, final flavors, and final numbers are due two weeks prior to your booked date.
We are happy to schedule a tasting for large parties/events. Please call the Overland Park bakery for additional information at 913.642.2999.
We do! Stop in at The Upper Crust at our Overland Park location and we’ll show you what we have to offer!
Delivery within the KC metro area can be arranged for large orders, based on availability. Delivery starts at $50. A venue contact person or representative for the wedding party must be present at the time of delivery. We do not set up at your venue. We’ve found over time that wedding parties have a clear vision of what they want a dessert table to look like, and it’s a much better task for someone close to the bride and groom. This is a great task for aunts, cousins, etc.
Certain pies travel better than others. If kept in an air-conditioned vehicle, away from direct sunlight, most pies will have no problems traveling to your event. We ask that pie boxes be stacked no more than 4 boxes high, and kept as flat as possible. We recommend you pick up your pies the night before, rather than the morning of the wedding, in case of any hiccups along the way.
Be creative!! Borrow dessert pedestals from your friends, cover up various size boxes with table linens, line ‘em up in rows…however you can dream it.
